THE SPIRIT OF DISTRACTION
David, his wife Barbara, and their beloved bible study group are still right where we left off, in chapter five, giving thanks to God for what He has done this afternoon. The presence of the Holy Spirit, as well as Protect and his mighty warriors fills the house. Some are weeping, some on their knees, and others with hands high in the air. But suddenly, Protect feels something evil has just come into range of his awareness. Right as he is alerted, the doorbell rings.
Barbara stands to walk upstairs. At the same moment, Protect has returned to his invisible state as the Lord says, "PROTECT, REVEAL YOURSELF TO THE MAN AT THE DOOR AND SAY THIS, "GO BACK TO THE BUILDING THAT I GAVE YOU AND TURN FROM YOUR SIN,... I BUILT UP MY CHURCH THAT YOU WERE TO FEED. I FILLED MY HOUSE AND YOU FILLED WITH PRIDE. IN YOUR DRUNKENNESS, YOU ALLOWED THE SPIRIT OF DISTRACTION TO DWELL AMONGST YOU. WHEN THOSE OF MY FAITHFUL DID NOT SUCCUMB AND BEGAN TO PRAY AGAINST IT, THE SPIRIT LEFT AND BROUGHT BACK MANY OF THEIR KIND. THEY SENT A PUPPET TO YOUR PULPIT TO SET THE TRAP AS YOU STOOD RIGHT BESIDE HIM. YOU HAVE BROUGHT THIS ON TO YOURSELF. YOU ALLOWED THE ENEMY TO TURN YOUR FOCUS FROM MY SHEEP AND YOU HAVE BEEN DECEIVED. BUT, YOU ARE MINE, RICHARD, AND YOU KNOW I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU. TURN FROM YOUR ERROR AND COME BACK TO ME IN HUMILITY AND START ALL OVER AGAIN. THOUGH I WILL NOT GIVE YOU BACK THESE, "MY SHEEP" WHOM YOU HAVE LOST, DO AS I SAY AND I WILL SEND HELP TO RESTORE MY HOUSE. IT HAS BEEN DEFILED AND I WILL NOT ENTER IN AGAIN UNTIL THESE THINGS ARE DONE.
Instantly, Protect is at the front door and opens it. There is Richard, the Pastor from the church where Protect arrived earlier. He was the Pastor of the group assembled downstairs. Behind him, Protect can see that, Motto, Tamer, Atone, and Grat are in battle with many spirits who pride themselves in distracting the body of Christ. They have followed the Pastor here. These demons were successful in pulling down such a mighty assembly of My Masters children, but as always, He is using this evil ploy to bring glory unto Himself.
As Protect begins to speak the Word God has given him, Barbara is now at the top of the stairs and sees that Protect has answered the door and speaking to their former Pastor.
She hurries back down to the group and tells everyone what is happening upstairs. Brenda smiles and says, "I bet the pastor never imagined you would have a servant like that answering the door", and several others chuckle.
David, more aware of the bigger picture, turns toward the group,... Please, everyone, I understand the humor there, but lets consider what we are witnessing here,... we are in the midst of a great spiritual battle. We must stay focused on what is most important to God right now. Please,... Let's gather in a circle here and hold hands and pray. Barbara,... come dear, we must pray for Richard, the church, and for what God is doing, here with us,... Amen? Let us pray,... Our Father, Whom is in heaven,...
While they are praying, Protect has told Richard, who has since - dropped to his knees, what God has said. Richard, stand up, for I am but a servant of The Most High. Do not revere me. Go now and do what God has said. You have no business here, for you have brought with you the spirit of distraction and these whom you seek will not be distracted.
My fellow servants have sent those whom followed you here fleeing and they will go with you, back to the Lords' House. While you restore your heart for the Creator, they will route the enemy there that await you. Go now, The Lord God Loves you. Grat, Motto, Tamer, and Atone, go with Gods' servant, Richard. "Clean out the stench that have clung to the walls of The Lords' House". I will join you when my work here is done.
Protect closes the door, turns back to his invisible form and returns downstairs. David has finished praying with the group and asks,...
Listen everyone, I know you have already been here longer than you thought you were gonna be, but you heard what the Lord said. Our actual Bible Study is tomorrow night, but I have the sermon about Humility upstairs and if you all agree, I would like to share it now. Is everyone free to stay for another hour?
Pastor David,... Oh, it feels so good to say that,.. we need to call our babysitter, but I know it won't be a problem. This is all so awesome, Amen,... everyone? Brenda, can you stay? What about Destiny? Oh yeah, I'm good,... she's with Grammy,... Probably asleep in Moms arms, even though she has a perfect crib,... as she laughs. I want to stay.
Well then, I'll go up grab my other bible and notes,... Bob, you guys are welcome to use the phone, if you like. Barbara, why don't you prepare some refreshments. Hallelujah and Amen!,... We're gonna have church tonight!
Moments later,... Well, guys,... this is so exciting. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who holds tomorrow,... Amen. The Lord said for me to start with this area of His Word, concerning Humility and so here we go.
Alright, friends,... Let's open our bibles to Luke, Chapter fourteen and I'll read verses one through fourteen. One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, He was being carefully watched. There in front of him was a man suffering from dropsy. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?" But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, He healed him and sent him away.
Then He asked them, "If one of you has a son or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull him out?" And they had nothing to say.
When He noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: "When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, 'Give this man your seat.' Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all your fellow guests. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
Let me begin by relating an experience I had many years ago. Barbara was a new teacher in a high school, and being at the bottom of the faculty totem pole she was tapped to be a chaperon for one of the school dances. Naturally, I went along as her "date." We arrived as things were still being set up, and we noticed that at one end of the gym there were several sofas and stuffed armchairs in a little circle. How kind of the school, we thought, to provide a special place for the chaperons. So we went over and sat down to observe the rest of the preparations,...
As David continues with his sermon, Protect begins to pray for the group before him and His Commander gives him another order...
"PROTECT, JOIN YOUR FORCES IN MY HOUSE WHERE MY CHILD RICHARD IS NOW. CONTINUE TO MINISTER TO HIM. I HAVE SHOWN HIM HOW THE ENEMY MADE UP THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE AND HAVE TWISTED THE THING WHICH I GAVE MAN. CONTINUE TO RID MY HOUSE OF THIS DISTRACTING SPIRIT WHICH HAS DISRUPTED THE WORK THAT WAS STARTED THERE."

THE TRUE CHURCH
In chapter five, Protect is given a new assignment,... And this time, several of his comrades will go with him. His mission to infiltrate several churches will take us to less obvious places. Our picture of the church is often misled and Protects journey, as God leads him, reveals the real church.
Protects' team arrives at one of the church buildings, but they are re-directed to a small gathering of the REAL CHURCH. He follows a humble bible study leader home where others of Gods' true believers were waiting to announce what they felt that the Holy Spirit was leading them to do,... to ask David to lead, minister, and assume the responsibility of being their Pastor.
Let me ask you,... If God asked you to be led, spiritually, by someone who did not have a license, or a ministerial degree, what would you do?
Well,... Let me say this,... If you believe you have been instructed by God, then you must obey,... But it's just not that simple. If God is building up a body of His church and you are part of it, you must consider that the bible (His Word) has clear guidance for all its members as well as it's ordinances!
Three verses in the New Testament include the word "pastor" (in various forms): Ephesians 4:11, Acts 20:28, and 1 Peter 5:2.In Ephesians 4:11, Paul discusses various roles that Christ placed in the church. He intends for "pastors and teachers" to serve in the church. The expression "pastors and teachers" identifies a single group.
Homer A. Kent writes, "Pastors and teachers are named as one grammatical unit (by use of just one article in the Gk text)" (Ephesians: The Glory of the Church, Chicago: Moody, 1971, p. 72). Pastors (i.e., shepherds), as they care for the flock, are also teachers.
In Acts 20:28, Paul again refers to pastors. Here, however, he uses the verb form of the word, which is translated "to feed" (ASV) or "to care for" (ESV). Pastors feed, tend, and protect the church. They are to do all the things that a shepherd would do for a flock. Note in this verse that the church is called "the flock."
Similarly, in 1 Peter 5:2, Peter encourages these servants by saying, "Tend the flock of God . . ." The word "tend" is again the verb poimaino, which W. E. Vine defines as, "to act as a shepherd" (Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, McLean: MacDonald, n.d., p. 427).
From these verses we learn that pastors are to act like shepherds by caring for the flock, and this care includes teaching. But a closer look at these verses will demonstrate that the responsibilities for pastors involve more than teaching.
In Acts 20:28, Paul identifies those who are to "take heed . . . to all the flock" as "bishops" (i.e., overseers or administrators). Likewise, Peter instructs these servants to "act like shepherds" as they "oversee" the flock of God (1 Pet. 5:2). This exhortation is addressed to "the elders" (1 Pet. 5:1). We observe how the words "bishop" and "elder" are interchangeable in another passage as well — Titus 1:5-6.
These terms — elder, bishop, and pastor — are used of the same service in the church. These words describe a man who is older and experienced in the faith; a person who is a decision-maker, manager of church affairs, and leader; and one who maintains a careful watch for the spiritual needs of all the members of the flock.
When other passages are considered, we learn that pastors, bishops, or elders must meet scriptural qualifications (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9), and they serve in a plurality over a single congregation (Titus 1:5; Acts 14:23; 1 Pet. 5:1-2). B. F. Westcott observed, "From a consideration of these passages it is evident that there was not as yet a recognized ecclesiastical hierarchy" (St. Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians, Eugene: Wipf and Stock Publishers, 1998, p. 62). The modern-day "pastor" system is as much a departure from the New Testament pattern of church organization as is an ecclesiastical hierarchy. No one man can assume the role of "the pastor," whether by title or by practice, for a congregation. Neither can a congregation delegate one man to be the sole church manager, regardless of the unanimity of vote or the crises at hand.
The Lord's plan is for qualified men to serve together over a single, autonomous congregation. Less than ideal circumstances never justify unscriptural arrangements in church matters — any more than a lack of water justifies sprinkling as an alternate form of New Testament baptism.
By considering these New Testament passages, we conclude that all pastors are ministers (i.e., servants), but not all ministers are pastors. Ministers, or preachers of the gospel, primarily work in the study and teaching of the Word (1 Tim. 4:15-16; 2 Tim. 4:2-5). They may function as a pastor/elder as well, if they are qualified. The apostle Peter was both a preacher and elder (1 Pet. 5:1). And Paul indicates that there may be elders who devote themselves full-time to the work of teaching the Word (1 Tim. 5:17).
It is the case, however, that many preachers labor in congregations in cooperation with pastors/elders, as did Timothy and Titus. These complimentary roles of service were designed by Christ to lead all members to serve God according to their abilities (Eph. 4:12). In that respect, all Christians should be "ministers" of the gospel. Working together with preachers and elders, the whole congregation can grow according to the Lord's plan.
David, from our story, does meet the qualifications that the bible outlines, but you see that he cannot solely lead this group, and so we must believe that there will be much to be worked out in development of "the church" as they grow together.
Paul outlines the biblical qualifications for pastors in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Read those sections. In fact, read all of I and II Timothy and Titus.
This is so important my friends! If you will remember, in chapter four, Protect refers to Tamer, as,... "who was with us in Guyana, against the terrible demons at the place called Jonestown". Protect was referring to a real event that occurred in 1978. Many people allowed themselves to set under the sole leadership of one man,... Jim Jones. They were called,... People's Temple Christian Church. Jim Jones, influenced by Unitarian Humanism, Father Divine, and Marxism, founded his church in 1977. He later claimed at various times to be God, Buddha, and Lenin. In 1978 at Jones' command, 914 people (including Jones) committed suicide or were murdered. There have been many such cults established over the history of the church age, regardless of the clear instructions and guidance from Gods' "Loving" Word. Gods' Word MUST be used along side the leading of The Holy Spirit,... Amen?
Just a few other points from chapter five,... Notice, that the bible study group 'fasted and prayed' for Gods' direction. This is so important and is, 'really', the practice of those who belong to the "true church". And then finally, David, truly a man of God seeks confirmation from God and God uses Protect to bring it to all who were there. This is not always the way that the Lord brings confirmation to us, however, there are innumerable accounts throughout history and still today of angels confirming Gods' direction.

WWW. Chapter 5
THE TRUE CHURCH
Protect has rejoined with Artraeo in the spiritual fight against the enemy. Expecting to press shoulder to shoulder with his mentor against the evil forces, Artraeo, however, has a different plan.
Protect,... Our Commander In Chief, Creator Of All Things has spoke to me of your great courage and your obedience to His will in the matter of His child, Nancy. We,... have too, had much success here, also,... and for those very reasons I have new orders for you.
As I said, we have had great success here on the front. We have broken down the wall of blasphemy and sent the enemy fleeing. What presence, you see between here and the city, now,... we can handle, Protect.
What I need you to do, is to take a handful of your closest warriors and infiltrate the churches that fell to this deception. The Creator will advise you as to what will be done as you observe.
I thank you, Artraeo, and I thank Our Great and Mighty, Commander. I would like to have Motto, Tamer, Atone, and Grat with me. There are many great warriors here, but these, I am most familiar with. To The Creator, we will be a mighty implement of His will.
Lev,... Go, and bring here,... before Protect,... Tamer, Motto, Atone, and Grat,... quickly. I look forward to see what The Lord has planned.

Protect,... We will continue to advance closer to you and be ready for The Commanders' leading. Your observation of the surroundings and constant commune with Him will allow you to be used of God. There are many of His Precious Bride whom have suffered greatly. Here are your warriors now,... Let us pray,...
Moments later,... Let us hold here just a moment and calculate our approach.
Protect, there are many of the advisory, both, inside this place they call the church, and outside as well.
Yes, Tamer,... but look, just there,... do you see that human,... setting in his car,... He is praying. There is something about this,...
PROTECT,... YOU HAVE OBSERVED WELL. FOR THIS IS ONE OF MY TRUE CHURCH. THE FEW HUMANS YOU SEEK INSIDE WILL NOT HEAR ME ANYWAY,... BUT THIS ONE WILL. WAIT HERE UNTIL HE LEAVES. HE IS ON HIS WAY TO MEET WITH OTHERS OF MY BODY. FOLLOW THIS FAITHFUL ONE THERE AND OBSERVE AGAIN.
Tamer, Motto, Atone, and Grat,... Let us pray for safe passage of this dear one as we wait. Lord, we call upon Your loving...
Moments later,... Protect!... The human has finished praying and has started his car.
Soldiers of Christ, Jesus,... lets' keep our distance from him as he goes, so as not to draw the enemies' attention and become engaged in battle. For now it is more important to follow.
A few blocks away, the man turns into his driveway. Several cars are parked along the street in front of the house and others in the driveway, as well. His wife meets him halfway up the walkway.
Honey, I just want to prepare you. Bob and Judianne came over earlier and asked if the bible study could meet with you to discuss something they have been praying and fasting about all week. I tried to call you but you must have been busy. I really didn't think you would mind anyway, so I told them, Ok.
I was at the church, Barbara, and I just couldn't go in to talk anymore. The Holy Spirit moved me to just begin weeping and I started praying for everyone. What does the group want to discuss,... is everyone here?
Yes, David, everyone is here and have even brought enough food for us to have dinner as well. You'll have to wait till you get downstairs to find out what it's about because they are already waiting for us.

No! Honey, they've brought everything we need, now don't fuss over me and let me have your suit jacket,... I love you.
He has gone inside,... Tamer, stay with Motto, Atone, and Grat,... And stand guard! I must go in and wait on The Creator to move.
Hello, Bob, Judianne, Vicky, everyone!... wow, this is a pleasant surprise. Is everything alright?
David,... We hoped you wouldn't mind speaking with us tonight. Barbara said she'd tried to call, but thought it would still be alright?
Yes,... Yes,... Of course. I love you all so much. In fact, I was just up at the church, and was going in to pray for and with the Pastor,... but,... well, Bob,... I just couldn't do it. And, I was thinking of all of you, too, and my heart was full. I felt The Holy Spirit stirring, and I just began weeping and praying for The Body of Christ. Something is going on, inside me and I know it's of God.
Well, David,... (smiling and a chuckle around the room) that is what the group wants to talk about tonight.

Well, I'll let Vicki tell you, David.
David, ever since the church broke up,... well, really,... even before that,... You have ministered more to us than the Pastor. We have grown more, 'Spiritually' through our bible study here, with you and Barbara. You both, are such a powerful example of Gods' love. Well,... Before I get too far ahead, I want Brenda to tell you what she shared with us,... Brenda!
Oh,... My goodness!... David and Barbara,... I love you so much, I don't know where to begin. You know when the church was so busy trying to get 'what's-his-name' voted in and that whole deal about the abortion bill,... Well, I was out there considering whether to have one myself or not.
But you and Barbara, stayed busy out where the real need was. You came to me in love. You never tried to make me feel ashamed for one second for thinking about what to do with my baby. You shared with me about Gods' love and prayed with me and the truth changed my thinking. You brought me to the Lord and He saved me. I joined the church after Destiny was born and started coming to our bible study and I love the Lord so much now. It's all because of His love that poured through you.
Thank you so much, Brenda,... your presence with us has truly been a blessing, and you know Barbara and I love little Destiny too.
Well, there's more, you guys,... Gina,... who you guys witnessed to also,... from the clinic. Well, since the church split-up, her bible study group stopped and now she wants to come over here too. She even said she wished you were her pastor.
Ok, well, back to you, Vicki.
Thanks, Brenda,... Well, here is the point of all this, David. None of us have felt led by The Holy Spirit to go back to that church. You said yourself, that today, you couldn't bring yourself to go in. Well, we have secretly fasted and have been praying to God to lead us where we are to go.

Protect has rejoined with Artraeo in the spiritual fight against the enemy. Expecting to press shoulder to shoulder with his mentor against the evil forces, Artraeo, however, has a different plan.
Protect,... Our Commander In Chief, Creator Of All Things has spoke to me of your great courage and your obedience to His will in the matter of His child, Nancy. We,... have too, had much success here, also,... and for those very reasons I have new orders for you.
As I said, we have had great success here on the front. We have broken down the wall of blasphemy and sent the enemy fleeing. What presence, you see between here and the city, now,... we can handle, Protect.
What I need you to do, is to take a handful of your closest warriors and infiltrate the churches that fell to this deception. The Creator will advise you as to what will be done as you observe.
I thank you, Artraeo, and I thank Our Great and Mighty, Commander. I would like to have Motto, Tamer, Atone, and Grat with me. There are many great warriors here, but these, I am most familiar with. To The Creator, we will be a mighty implement of His will.

Soldiers of Christ, Jesus,... lets' keep our distance from him as he goes, so as not to draw the enemies' attention and become engaged in battle. For now it is more important to follow.
A few blocks away, the man turns into his driveway. Several cars are parked along the street in front of the house and others in the driveway, as well. His wife meets him halfway up the walkway.
Honey, I just want to prepare you. Bob and Judianne came over earlier and asked if the bible study could meet with you to discuss something they have been praying and fasting about all week. I tried to call you but you must have been busy. I really didn't think you would mind anyway, so I told them, Ok.
I was at the church, Barbara, and I just couldn't go in to talk anymore. The Holy Spirit moved me to just begin weeping and I started praying for everyone. What does the group want to discuss,... is everyone here?
Yes, David, everyone is here and have even brought enough food for us to have dinner as well. You'll have to wait till you get downstairs to find out what it's about because they are already waiting for us.

Yes,... Yes,... Of course. I love you all so much. In fact, I was just up at the church, and was going in to pray for and with the Pastor,... but,... well, Bob,... I just couldn't do it. And, I was thinking of all of you, too, and my heart was full. I felt The Holy Spirit stirring, and I just began weeping and praying for The Body of Christ. Something is going on, inside me and I know it's of God.

David, ever since the church broke up,... well, really,... even before that,... You have ministered more to us than the Pastor. We have grown more, 'Spiritually' through our bible study here, with you and Barbara. You both, are such a powerful example of Gods' love. Well,... Before I get too far ahead, I want Brenda to tell you what she shared with us,... Brenda!
Oh,... My goodness!... David and Barbara,... I love you so much, I don't know where to begin. You know when the church was so busy trying to get 'what's-his-name' voted in and that whole deal about the abortion bill,... Well, I was out there considering whether to have one myself or not.
But you and Barbara, stayed busy out where the real need was. You came to me in love. You never tried to make me feel ashamed for one second for thinking about what to do with my baby. You shared with me about Gods' love and prayed with me and the truth changed my thinking. You brought me to the Lord and He saved me. I joined the church after Destiny was born and started coming to our bible study and I love the Lord so much now. It's all because of His love that poured through you.

Back to the Front
In chapter four, Protect is on his way back to his close companion, mentor, and leader of the body of warriors he is part of. Before he gets close to Artraeo, who is near the front of battle, he begins to feel the weight of the presence of sin.
Paul speaks of "the weight of sin" in Hebrews 12:1-2, and I too have experienced the feeling. In the Spirit, I have felt at times, both, the presence of evil, sometimes, and the weight of sin. These are part of the spiritual awareness I spoke of in the opening of this story.
Protect senses that his fellow warriors have come against a strong evil force. And then he describes an interesting formation of his comrades as they have positioned themselves for maximum combatant effect. His reference to them being like ocean waves is almost beautiful to imagine, and really, it is not so unbelievable, compared to biblical descriptions of other angelic formations.
What is more interesting is the assignment of responsibilities to individual warriors. We can learn from these tactics and parallel our own efforts to combat the enemy as a church. Those of us that are strong in the Word of God, and courageous enough, and led by the Spirit to speak the truth against the lies of the enemy, ("Rebukers", if-you-will), should be surrounded by those who are strong at giving encouragement,... coaching and cheering,... "Encouragers". Then we see that both of those efforts are under-girded by twice the number of "Praisers",... those who continuously send up praises, thankful, joyful, and reverent appreciation. The church today, doesn't seem to be lacking in praise,... But, what is most interesting is the reference to the "Mourners". Many don't know this, but the church use to mourn for mans sins, failures, and disobedience. Many years ago, during church services, you could often find a group of faithful servants that mourned audibly, even weeping throughout the services for the sins of this world. Why don't we do this anymore? The church has much that we should be mournful of today, my friends! Amen?
Then, through Tamer, one angel, out of the great sea of angels, that Protect is more familiar with, we find out what has drawn such a great (huge) spiritual presence into this area. Tamer tells us about the error of the church. While the church does have a responsibility to, pray for, respect, and even, work with the government. But in this story and in real life, there were two very large churches and several surrounding smaller ones that, actually gave over their responsibility for spiritual matters, and relied upon the government to do what the church is accountable for. The church will never be relieved of these matters until it rejoins The Bridegroom. It is one thing to work with the government to instill Godly laws and principles, i.e., anti-abortion laws, etc., but to "the church" is whom God has said, FEED MY PEOPLE, TEACH, LOVE, SPREAD MY WORD, ETC., NOT THE GOVERNMENT.
At the same time that the church directed it's attention to promote the congressional effort, their prayers also shifted from the faces of those who they had been praying for, (the pregnant teen, the abortionists, the unborn, etc.) they began praying for the success of the bill, voter turn-out, enforcing the new law, etc.
Now, let's wonder if this shift of prayer from the things that are eternal (the salvation of the abortionist, the veil of deceit to be lifted, the birth of a child),... To the things that are temporal (the election of a seemingly Christian official, the passing of a law that was already covered within Gods' commandments, etc.), could cause such an influx of evil. Consider this.
The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5). The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe! Elijah was a man of like nature with ourselves and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth.
I don't know where the line should be drawn between the two, but obviously, GOD DOES. The church must pray more the kingdom issues like, the birth of the unborn, and less for the matters of this world. And finally, as chapter four came to a close, Protect, alongside his comrades, praying and professing Gods' Word, against the lies and blasphemes of the enemy, pressed his way forward through the wave of angels to get to Artraeo and give his report, and to get his next assignment.

WWW. Chapter 4
BACK TO THE FRONT
Oh my,... Master, I am not even close to Artraeo yet and already I feel the heaviness of battle. We are as thick as I have ever seen us before. The screams of battle fill the expanse around us. It's got to be bad up further ahead if Artraeo is using these waves of soldiers like this. He has two Encouragers assigned to each rebuking soldier,... shoulder to shoulder, lined up as far as I can see. In between each of those waves, he has a solid line of Praisers. They send praises up and power from The Creator pushes the lines forward. The Rebuking soldiers, who are mostly veterans, continuously speak truths from Gods' Word toward the enemy, while the Encouragers speak encouragement into the ears of the Rebukers the whole time. Artraeo and I talked about using this tactic once - should the need become so great.
Well,.. it must be bad,... because we look like the crashing sea waves against Gibraltar now,... I've not seen it like this before. What has happened here in just the passing of time that I was with Nancy?
Hey, there is Tamer, who was with us in Guyana, against the terrible demons at the place called Jonestown. I will find out from him what is going on and see how far ahead Artraeo is.

I have just returned, alone, from a special assignment,... Tamer,... What has happened here?
Well, several large bodies of Gods' people that worship here were drawn by the enemy, deeply into the politics of the government. Much of their focus in prayer went to the things that are temporal and away from the eternal.
Yes, Tamer,... I was aware of that before I left,... But this,... What has caused this?
Well, Friend, instead of continuing to reach the youth of this city in love, they turned their attention, time and much resources to getting the government to set up more laws against the abortion, gay marriage, and other issues. Later, the government betrayed them and went against the churches stance after all. And so, because of the churches misdirected prayer and attention to the affairs of the government,... combined with the godless changes that the government implemented into law, a huge wave of evil rushed into the area.
By the time God's people cried out to Our Commander, the deaths of the unborn, the immorality, impurity, indecency of these young ones grew terribly in this area. The churches that were involved have split and many are under intense spiritual attack. It is the worse I have seen in this great region.
They say that Michael would not allow Artraeo to move any of the other divisions here, and so, he has pieced together this new division. We continue to grow each day as small groups of warriors can be spared from elsewhere.
Near the rear, Artraeo has a team he calls Mourners that weep and pray for repentance, continually. They say that Artraeo saw a small body of Gods' children that worship together, and noticed much power was given to them. They say he then watched their worship service and found that they use Mourners throughout their service and thinks that was a factor in the Lord sending them strength. It seems to be helping us today, as we have pressed forward, considerably. Those of us that fall back from the front become Mourners, and those who are pushed forward become Rebukers or Encouragers.
Tamer,... I've got to get up there with Artraeo, where I belong!
Protect,... look for yourself,... It's nearly impossible. You'll just have to start here and work your way through to the front.

The Gift
Chapter three begins near the end of an all-night vigil between Protect and his Creator, Jesus. After a victory over Nancy's oppressors, Protect spent hours praising Jesus and keeping watch over Nancy as she slept. The Lord gave Protect one final task to perform before his assignment with her was up.
If you remember, back in chapter one, Nancy needed to replace her collaborated ideas of who the Lord is with the truth. And so, The Lord charged Protect with giving Nancy some information and keys to help her understand the nature of her Creator.
Now, while this is a made up story, I want to remind you that I promised you I would stay within the truth from Gods' Word throughout this story. So, if someone would question if God would actually tell Nancy or anyone to focus on His Teachings Of Love as a way to understand Him better, I thought I would lay just a handful of scriptures before you to consider, today.
1 Corinthians 8:2 If anyone imagines that he has come to know and understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary.
1 Corinthians 14:1 EAGERLY PURSUE and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]
1 Corinthians 16:14 Let everything you do be done in love (true love to God and man as inspired by God's love for us).

1 Timothy 1:5 Whereas the object and purpose of our instruction and charge is love, which springs from a pure heart and a good (clear) conscience and sincere (unfeigned) faith.
James 2:12 So speak and so act as [people should] who are to be judged under the law of liberty [the moral instruction given by Christ, especially about love].
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].
1 John 4:8 He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.
John 4:12 No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!
So, you see that, not only would God send a message like that to her, but that He already has sent us this same secret. You and I are justified by Gods' Word to push for a deeper understanding of Christ's' Love as a way to better understand Him. And so, that was the gift that Protect brought to our character, Nancy.
Well, Protect is headed back to Artraeo and the mighty host of warriors he is used to battling along side. Lets get back in and see what's going on. I love you and thank you for joining along.
If you remember, back in chapter one, Nancy needed to replace her collaborated ideas of who the Lord is with the truth. And so, The Lord charged Protect with giving Nancy some information and keys to help her understand the nature of her Creator.
Now, while this is a made up story, I want to remind you that I promised you I would stay within the truth from Gods' Word throughout this story. So, if someone would question if God would actually tell Nancy or anyone to focus on His Teachings Of Love as a way to understand Him better, I thought I would lay just a handful of scriptures before you to consider, today.
1 Corinthians 8:2 If anyone imagines that he has come to know and understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary.
1 Corinthians 14:1 EAGERLY PURSUE and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]
1 Corinthians 16:14 Let everything you do be done in love (true love to God and man as inspired by God's love for us).
Ephesians 3:17 May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,
Ephesians 3:18 That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
Ephesians 3:19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

WWW. Chapter 3
THE GIFT
..."AND SO, PROTECT,... CONTINUE TO COMPLETE YOUR ASSIGNMENT WITH MY CHILD NOW. GIVE HER MY WORD OF WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME AND FOR HER. SHE IS WAKING UP NOW, AND YOUR TIME WITH HER HAS BEEN MEASURED, SINCE BEFORE I EVEN CREATED YOU. YES,... PROTECT, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS,... PLEASANT, BEAUTIFUL, AND MIGHTY SERVANT, THAT YOU ARE. GLORIFY ME NOW.
Nancy... It is I, Protect, who was sent by Your Father, Jesus Christ, My Master and Commander! Do not be afraid.
Good morning, Protect. And... I am not afraid! A peace has come over me since yesterday, and,... it seems like I am more able to sense the difference in which kind of spirit I am in the presence of. I still cannot believe what happened. I mean'... I do believe it, but I guess I can't get over it. Protect,... Will they be back?
Nancy, apart from God, nothing that is spirit can find rest. And so, not being able to find rest, those evil ones that were here and all of their kind, continue to rush to and fro seeking to destroy all that is of God. Whether it be the same spirits or others of their kind,... they will come to you again. And when they come and see how much stronger in The Lord you have become, they will go and bring others back with them in their efforts to destroy you.
But, you have seen Your Fathers' power and might,... His, and our victory over the enemy. You have seen this, yourself now and trust God,... But, you read of these things beforehand and did not trust. You can see now, how it means more to God if you believe His Word without having seen. God has allowed this experience for the building up of your faith because of His Great love for you.
It is 'this love for you', that He has charged me to stay here, long enough to reveal to you now. It is His most important Word for you.
You believe that you love God and that He is important to you. But, I know that God 'is' love and that there is no one or no thing more important than God. That is why for you to love Him, He must be the most important thing to you. Do you understand what I have said, my Precious?
Yes I do, Protect, but I am afraid I will let Him down,... I mean, what if my love is not good enough for Him? What can I do to show Him I do love Him?
That's just it, Nancy,... it can't be your love! Consider for a moment,... how did you come to know what love is?,... from your sinful parents, or sinful teachers, in a sinful world? Even in the four years of going to Gods house you do not even know what Gods' love means or what He has said it looks like.
For your love to be pleasing to God,... your love has to actually be from Him. Since He is the only true form of love in all of eternity, it has to be His love that you give to Him.
This revelation that I am bringing to you now is itself, a gift of Gods love for you. This world has kept this Word from you and you have been blinded from seeing it, until today. Nancy, you already know that God created all things, but, you do not know that love is the only thing in all of eternity that was not created by Him,... for God 'is' love.
That is why Jesus, My Commander in Chief, stood before many wise leaders and told them that love was the greatest commandment. To them, the commandments had become more important than He, whom had given them.
Let me put it this way,... if you want to know God, you must come to know His love,... and, if you want to know His love, you must come to know God. The Holy Spirit that is confirming to you now, these things that I am saying, is the very source of this love that I speak of. Your new-found sensitivity to the spirit realm will help you to be lead by Him more now and to discern those things of God between the lies of this world.
Protect, I gave my life to Jesus four years ago,... how is it that I still don't know how to love, as God loves?
You have already begun to change, Nancy,.. But it is not a complete change-over upon salvation. The key to growing in things of God is through the relationship you have with Him. Turning your attention from the things of this world and for yourself, towards Him allows Him to impart His wisdom to you.
There is much He has to tell you in His Word. As you read His Holy Word, which is God, The Holy Spirit, who is also God, will confirm His Word within you. Let's go back to the most important thing, which is love, and look at the process using that. Gods' love resides within you through the Holy Spirit,... You remember that flood of unexplainable joy that filled you the night you were saved?... Right.
Yes, Protect... I will never forget it. I remember giggling so much, I was so happy. I felt like a new person, like a little baby, even.
Hallelujah, Nancy... I have seen the same event over and over, many times and I never tire of watching it. And, you 'are' a new person,... Just as you say. A baby, even,... in Christ,... you are a new creation. And so with The Holy Spirit residing in you now, you read Gods' Holy Word concerning love and The Holy Spirit confirms what you read and thereby you are being transformed.
Slowly you begin to replace the false knowledge, traditions, and carnal thinking you acquired from the world with the truth from God.
Soon... instead of being angry with those people who hurt you, Gods love in you will begin to cause you to forgive them. You look at others the way God sees them. And then later, as the fullness of Gods love begins to operate within you, you no longer need to forgive because you won't even account for wrong done to you. This is the Word concerning love that was given to the Apostle Paul to pass to Gods' children in Corinth. 'Love does not account for the evil done to it', is one of those truths from that teaching. Our Creator, Jesus Christ says that love is the greatest commandment and so, the teachings on love from His Word are the most important. When we exhibit the fruit of His Love,... that is how He will know we are His children. Do you believe these things I have told you, Nancy?
I do, Protect... and when you see me again, the sections of my bible that are concerning love will be the most worn!

Where will you go now, Protect?
I must get back to my leader, Artaeo, and my company of a great number. The battle is mighty and while the number of those we will see saved is few, the prize is great to the Lord and to me.

Praise You Lord!... Hallelujah! We give thanks to You Lord, for You are good; Your mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Who can put into words all the mighty deeds of You Lord? Or who can show forth all the praise that you are due? Blessed,... happy, and fortunate, are those who observe justice for everyone and who do right and are in right standing with You at all times...
